Willy the Kid Book
written & drawn by former Beano artist Leo Baxendale
These annuals where produced with laminate covers except for the final annual which was usually was produced with a dust jacket with plain inner boards.
Leo originally worked for the Beano comic in 1953 creating Minnie the Minx, Little Plum and the Bash Street Kids as well as a number of other characters. He left & started art with other leading titles & created this three annual run for Wilie the Kid his step into creator owned publishing.
