The Lion  Club

Lion lasted 1156 issues from 23rd Feb to 18th May 1974 surviving a number of merges until 1974 when it merged under the Banner of Valiant and Lion. It was published by  Amalgamated Press and then later IPC Magazines.

Each week there was a full page section called The Lion Birthday Club - although in the later years it only had a small part of a page before disappearing altogether..

Readers were able to fill in a membership form in order to become a member of The Lion Club and would receive a badge as per the example shown below.
