The Wizard was a boys storypaper- 1970 issues
(22nd Sept 1922) to (16th Nov 1963)
It was later relaunched as a comic magazine on (14th Feb 1970 and ran until 10th June 1978)
The Wizard Annual or 'Book for Boys' was published as a hardback annual with a decorative spine. It's 1st annual was publsihed in 1936 and ran until 1949 with no annuals being published between (1943 to 1948) due to the war effort.
